PBIS Recognition

Monee Elementary has recently been recognized for our efforts to implement an equitable, multi-tiered system of support and has been recognized as a PBIS school, receiving two designated badges reflecting our level of implementation: the storytelling badge and the action planning badge: Storytelling Badge - School teams that improve their implementation of PBIS regularly see improved school culture and climate and other impacts on student, family, and staff outcomes. The Storytelling badge is awarded to teams that develop a teaching and learning story about their journey to improve the climate and culture of their schools. Midwest PBIS reviews it and determines whether to grant badges to deserving schools. Action Planning Badge - School teams that effectively utilize data to drive their action planning for PBIS implementation submit their multi-tiered action plan to Midwest PBIS. Upon review, a determination is made to grant badges to deserving schools.

Monee Elementary Hosts Successful Bike Bus Event

On May 5, 2026, Monee Elementary School hosted a Bike Bus event, bringing students together for a unique and engaging ride to school. A Bike Bus is a group of students who travel along a planned route on bicycles, supervised by adults—similar to a walking school bus, but on bikes.
